Finding Beauty in the Ordinary
A Connecticut native currently residing in Meriden, Paul R. Scollan is married with five sons, retired after 35 years as a licensed clinical social worker in community mental health. He has 4 books of published poetry, including Liberty Street Hill, Unaccounted For, Bagful of Bags and Only When the Light’s Just Right. He has also been published in literary journals, including Sow’s Ear, William and Mary Review, Naugatuck River Review, and many others. In addition to writing, he is a Vietnam veteran whose passions include nature, volunteering with ESL, partaking in cultural and intellectual events with the local Ys Men, and spending time with his grandchildren.
